Watchdog Group Calls For Extended School Time, Improvements To Teacher Evaluations In Boston

A watchdog group has released several recommendations for Boston Public Schools to improve its teacher core and to become more competitive with charter schools.

The list includes a longer school day and changing the way teachers are evaluated.

Sam Tyler, president of the Boston Municipal Research Bureau, spoke with us about the group's findings within the report.
