The two sides in the debate over the state ballot question that would lift the cap on charter schools have so far spent more than $18 million on their campaigns. So it might come as no surprise that, during a debate on the topic hosted by WBUR, The Boston Globe and UMass Boston on Tuesday, the discussion had a lot to do with money. WBUR's Louise Kennedy reports.

This segment aired on September 14, 2016.
