Fresh Approaches to Public Art
Greg Cook, a Malden-based arts reporter and critic for WBUR.org will moderate a free panel discussion at the Malden Public Library featuring Judith G. Klausner and Steve Pomeroy, who launched the “the Smallest Museum in the World” in Somerville this summer; Matthew Hincman, who snuck a curious double-backed park bench into Boston’s Jamaica Pond in 2006; and Naomi Brave of Malden Arts, which organizes the annual Window Arts Malden. The talk will be followed by a tour of the library’s H.H. Richardson –designed wing and art collection with art curator Marysara Naczi.
The talk launches “Quiet, Please,” a regular series of talks organized by Greg Cook at the Malden Public Library about arts, cultures and other interesting things.
