Jad Abumrad &
Robert Krulwich

Hosts, Radiolab

Radiolab has developed a passionate following for its unconventional approach to both the medium and the message of radio and won a 2010 Peabody Award. Hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich create Radiolab from the studios of WNYC in New York City. A music composer, reporter and documentary producer, Jad is a 2011 MacArthur Genius Grant winner. Robert, who is also the an NPR Science Correspondent, has been called “the man who simplifies without being simple” by New York magazine.


Lourdes Garcia-Navarro

Correspondent, NPR

NPR correspondent Lourdes Garcia-Navarro is most at home when she’s on the move. Born in London, Lourdes the journalist has lived in the United States, Colombia, Afghanistan, Israel and Mexico City. She currently covers the Middle East for NPR, based in Jerusalem. Lordes began her career at the BBC World Service. She also won the Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize at th 2006 WBUR Gala for a series she produced as NPR Bureau Chief in Mexico City.


Melissa Block

Host, All Things Considered

Melissa Block is a 26-year veteran of NPR hosting All Things Considered since 2003. During most of the prior decade, she was an NPR correspondent. Throughout her career, Melissa has covered major news events for NPR ranging from on-the-scene reporting following Hurricane Katrina and 2008’s massive earthquake in Sichuan Province, China. Her reporting after the September 11, 2001 attacks was part of coverage that earned NPR a George Foster Peabody Award.


Bob Oakes

Host, Morning Edition

Bob Oakes, WBUR’s Morning Edition anchor since 1992, is one of the most respected journalists in New England. His career in radio broadcasting spans 30 years and eight presidential campaigns. Prior to WBUR, Oakes reported on issues of national importance for the CBS Radio Network.


Tom Ashbrook

Host, On Point

Tom Ashbrook is an award-winning journalist who joined WBUR following the attacks of September 11, 2001 after a distinguished career in newspaper reporting and editing. Tom spent ten years reporting from Asia and also served as the Boston Globe’s deputy managing editor.


Robin Young

Host, Here & Now

Robin Young brings more than 30 years of rich journalism experience to her role as host of Here & Now—a position she’s held for more than ten years. She is both a Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker and a former guest host of the Today Show on NBC.

Meghna Chakrabarti

Co-Hosts, Radio Boston

Anthony Brooks & Meghna Chakrabarti are co-hosts of WBUR’s newest daily program, Radio Boston. Meghna has served as a fill-in-host, a reporter in the WBUR Newsroom, and was once a member of the On Point staff. Anthony has worked as a producer, editor, correspondent and host for both NPR and WBUR.


Sacha Pfeiffer

Host, All Things Considered

Sacha Pfeiffer, host of WBUR’s All Things Considered, joined WBUR as a reporter in 2008 after more than a decade reporting for The Boston Globe, where she was on the Spotlight investigative team that won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for its stories on sex abuse in the Catholic Church.


Bill Littlefield

Host, Only A Game

Bill Littlefield, host of the weekly one-hour sports magazine Only A Game, is a nationally known author and veteran sports commentator. Bill has provided audiences with a weekly tour through the world of sports since 1993.

Ray Magliozzi

Co-Hosts, Car Talk

Co-Hosts Tom Magliozzi and Ray Magliozzi, aka “Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers,” are the fun-loving hosts of Car Talk. Their honest, big-picture, hilarious approach to owning and fixing cars has made them a weekend staple for more than 4.5 million devoted listeners a week.
