A nonprofit anti-abortion group has designed license plates that say "Choose Life," and are sold in more than 20 states, including Florida, Massachusetts and Louisiana.  Planned Parenthood also offers plates that say "Trust Women, Respect Choice," but they're only sold in a few states, including Virginia.

Both sets of plates are produced by the state and proceeds benefit the group behind the message. But should states be in the business of producing political statements on license plates at all? We speak with Brigitte Amiri, senior staff attorney of the Reproductive Freedom Project of the ACLU.

This segment aired on November 18, 2010.
