Holidays Offer Temporary Jobs Beyond Folding Sweaters

While unemployment in the U.S. remains high, the holiday season offers people a chance to find temporary work that could lead to full-time careers. Hiring for what are called "temporary-to-permanent" jobs outside the retail sector is expected to grow by 10 percent compared to last year's holiday season. Annamaria Andriotis of SmartMoney.com tells us marketing, high tech and banking industries are looking to hire people on a temporary basis to give them a trial run for a full-time job.
