A firefight that cost nine American soldiers their lives in Afghanistan in 2008 is one of the most scrutinized of the 10-year war there. But now, the Army's final report in the battle shifts the blame to lower level commanders in the field that day. This reverses the first investigation, which called for reprimands of higher level officers. Greg Jaffe of the Washington Post has been covering this story for two years and joins us with the latest.

This segment aired on December 29, 2010.
