Resume

A new production of "Prometheus Bound" at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass. takes the 2,500 year-old Greek play "Prometheus Bound," and gives it a rock spin.

The tale of the Titan who is imprisoned unjustly by the god Zeus takes on modern relevance:  the production is dedicated to eight Amnesty International campaigns.

We speak to the creators: Steven Sater who wrote the script and lyrics (based on the play by Aeschylus), composer Serj Tankian, and director Diane Paulus.

This segment aired on March 4, 2011.
