Sí Cuba: Bringing Rumba And Son To The U.S.

A couple of years ago the White House started loosening restrictions on travel to and from Cuba and curious artists from both countries began visiting each other, setting off a kind of ping pong cultural diplomacy.

This exchange continues tomorrow with the opening of the Sí Cuba festival. Through mid-June, New York will be home to the best of Cuban literature, art, film and, of course, music.

We talk with Jose Massó, host of Con Salsa, the Latin music show on WBUR, Boston, about what he's looking forward to hearing.
