House Speaker John Boehner is unveiling the Republican's "Plan for America's Job Creators" Thursday, a day after Senate Democrats forced a vote on Republican Congressman Paul Ryan's budget that included a controversial plan to reshape Medicare. The plan was voted down, but Republicans were put on the spot and forced to vote for the politically risky plan, or risk pushback from inside the party.

The rejection of the Republican bill comes on the heels of Democrat Kathy Hochul's unexpected congressional win in a conservative district of New York. We speak with Gail Chaddock of the Christian Science Monitor.

This segment aired on May 26, 2011.
