Girls Take Center Stage At Math Contest
ResumeA few hundred high school girls from around the country at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts this weekend to compete in the only national, all-girls math contest.
It's called the "Math Prize for Girls" and it has the biggest monetary award for a girls math contest in the country-- $25,000.
Victoria Xia was this year's winner, she's a 10th grader who attends Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology in Vienna, Virginia.
The Math Prize for Girls is sponsored by the Advantage Testing Foundation.
