The Yankees' closer Mo Rivera broke a record with save number 602 on Monday's win over the Minnesota Twins. As one announcer put it "the greatest closer in history now has the most saves in history."

Besides this milestone, the Yankees are all but assured of making the playoffs. Meanwhile, here in Boston we may be watching an epic Red Sox collapse.
