A Sweet Bow To Tradition
ResumeThough in Italy they're traditionally eaten at Easter, for producer Lynn Menegon's family, "sweet bows," or Farfallette Dolci, have become a Christmas staple.
Last year, Lynn's 81 year-old mother Lea showed her how to make the crunchy, fried confections and gave us the recipe!
The sweet bows are such a family treat that Lea used to try to hide the finished bows in a box in the dishwasher so that they wouldn't all be eaten at once.
