The Arab League is preparing to send more monitors into Syria to observe the situation on the ground. But opposition activists are suggesting that the observers who are currently in the country aren't getting a full picture of the violence between government forces and opponents.

The BBC's Paul Wood met with Syrian civilians injured in fighting in recent days who have been smuggled across the border to northern Lebanon.
