When the Supreme Court upheld President Obama's Affordable Care Law, the justices made the expansion of Medicaid optional, rather than a requirement. Five Republican governors say will definitely not take part in the program; 10 Democratic governors say they will — the and rest? They're not sure.

That includes Democratic governor Mike Beebe of Arkansas.

"My concern is that we're in a position to be able to pay for it," he told Here & Now's Robin Young.

Guest:

  • Gov. Mike Beebe, (D) Arkansas

This segment aired on July 16, 2012.
