Snowstorm Could Rank Among Top 10 Ever
ResumeMeteorologists are forecasting a potentially crippling storm for the entire northeast region, beginning Friday morning and lasting, in some areas, until early Saturday evening.
At least one forecaster has called the storm "powerful" and "rare" and is warning people to exercise caution.
Some are saying the storm could rival the infamous Blizzard of '78, and if it packs the punch that some expect, it will rank in the region's top 10 snowstorms ever.
We talk with Dr. Louis Uccellini, director of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction.
