One of the leading opposition politicians in Egypt, Muhammad Baradei, has called on President Mohammed Morsi not to press ahead with the general elections he's called for in late April.

Mr Baradei warned that with the country polarized and in turmoil, the elections risked bringing total chaos and instability.

The BBC's Jim Muir has been assessing the mood among the opposition forces on the streets of Cairo.

This segment aired on February 25, 2013.
