Jamaican American reggae singer Tarrus Riley is one of the artists recommended by WDNA's Howard Duperly.

Reggae music started with a jazz-influenced style known as "ska" in the 1960s. In the 1970s, Bob Marley started to add his imprint, and today the style has spread internationally.

Jamaican-born Howard Duperly, who is host of "Reggae Ride" on 88.9 WDNA public radio in Miami, says there is not a corner of the world you can go to without hearing reggae.
