Now that the House has passed a two-year budget deal, the Senate will see if it has enough votes to pass it as well. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a procedural vote for Tuesday that will need 60 yes votes to move forward.

Many Republicans have already come out against the deal, including a handful who are up for reelection in 2014.

Politics editor for NPR digital news, Charlie Mahtesian joins Here & Now's Robin Young to discuss the budget deal.
