Thousands In Maine Still Without Power
ResumeIce storms have left thousands in Maine without power since Monday evening. Some residents are being told that power will not be restored until Friday.
Greg Thompson an incident commander in the Kennebec Region with Maine Central Power says the ice is so thick, it has taken down several trees on one power line and that has made getting electricity back to people much more challenging.
"This is very widespread," Thompson told Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson. "It's become a house to house event."
