Hours after a verdict came in, State Attorney Angela Corey said she planned to retry 47-year-old software engineer Michael Dunn, who is white, for the killing of black teenager Jordan Davis at a Jacksonville, Fla., convenience store two years ago.

On Saturday, a jury found Dunn guilty of multiple counts of attempted murder for shooting into a car of teenagers in an argument over loud music, but jurors were unable to reach a verdict on a first-degree murder charge.

Miami defense lawyer and former assistant U.S. attorney David Weinstein joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti to explain the verdict.
