There are conflicting reports from the country's Crimean peninsula about whether two airports are under Ukrainian or Russia control.

While what's happening in Crimea may not be so clear, there's no doubt about how the ousted President Viktor Yanukovich feels about the crisis, after being forced to flee to Russia after last week's violent protests in Kiev.

During a press conference today, Yanukovich insisted he is still Ukraine’s president. The BBC's David Stern joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti from Kiev with the latest.
