District Profile: New Mexico's 2nd Congressional

It's a big primary day across the country, with voters heading to the polls from Mississippi to California. Midterm elections are less than five months away, with control of Congress at stake for each party.

In a new series we're calling "District Profile," Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson will touch down in different congressional district each week.

We start in New Mexico's second congressional district, where underdog and Democratic candidate Roxanne "Rocky" Lara is trying to unseat Republican Rep. Steve Pearce.
