Regional Airlines Get Pinched

Small airlines that often fly under the banner of the legacy carriers have been losing money amid rising costs. Those costs have cut into their ability to pay pilots competitively.
Last week, an industry group said 86 cities served by these carriers have lost 10 percent of their flights. All this could be bad news for travelers.
