Officials at the University of California are now calling for mandatory training for all students faculty and staff to combat incidents of sexual misconduct on campus.

The plan comes as nearly 80 public and private schools of higher education throughout the country are under federal investigation for possibly not doing enough to protect students from sexual assault.

The University of Colorado, Boulder is on that list. And it has responded by adding new awareness programs for all incoming students that address stalking, partner abuse and sexual assault.
