The Supreme Court Session begins formally next week. The Justices will consider cases on gerrymandering, campaign finance, and voting laws.

NPR's legal correspondent Nina Totenberg joins Here & Now's Robin Young with a preview of the Court's upcoming term.

And, on a slightly unrelated note, Totenberg sings!

Along with such public radio luminaries as Ira Glass and Alonzo Bodden, Totenberg will be featured on a new comedy album called "2776." She sings in a mini-rock opera about an imagined future case.

Proceeds from the album's sale will benefit the OneKidOneWorld charity, which builds schools and supports teachers and students in Kenya and El Salvador.
