Fallout From Failed Hostage Rescue Mission
ResumeOutgoing U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel says there will not be a review of U.S. policy on hostage rescue mission, despite the failed attempt to free American Luke Somers in Yemen on Saturday.
Somers and South African Peter Korkie died when U.S. Special Forces tried to rescue them from the militant group Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
Here & Now's security analyst, Jim Walsh, joins host Jeremy Hobson to talk about the failed rescue mission and whether the U.S.'s "no ransom" policy should change.
