Retail Sales Jump By Biggest Amount In 8 Months

The Commerce Department reported today that retail sales jumped by the biggest amount in eight months during the month of November.

The seasonally adjusted 0.7 percent increase exceeded economists' expectations. This comes after some bleak Black Friday sales reports and concern about the holiday shopping season.

CBS business analyst Jill Schlesinger spoke to Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson about the November retail sales report.
