Insurers, Some States Extend Deadlines For Health Coverage

Health insurers say they will give people more time to pay their premiums for health plans, and still have coverage start January 1st.

A number of states have also extended their deadlines for people to enroll and choose a plan that will kick in on the first of the year, amid a flurry of last-minute sign-ups.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks to Julie Rovner of Kaiser Health News about the deadline extensions and how this second open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act is going so far.
