Ranchers in the Midwest and the Rocky Mountains have a rich heritage of raising sheep – either for their meat or for their wool.

Colorado ranks third in the country's in wool production - even though the overall sheep herd there has been slipping for decades.

But one entrepreneur is hoping to reinvigorate the region’s wool economy.
