The 114th Congress starts Tuesday. The new Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that passing a bill to build the Keystone XL pipeline will be at the top of his agenda. This week, we want to take a look at the way a Republican-led Congress will handle issues of energy.

We've teamed up with the folks at Inside Energy, a reporting project out of Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota, to explore Keystone's fate, the question of energy efficiency standards, and Republicans' relationship with the Environmental Protection Agency.

Today, Inside Energy's executive editor Alisa Barba joins Here & Now's Robin Young to discuss the Republican Congress and the Keystone Pipeline. We then hear a report from Emily Guerin.
