Anheuser-Busch InBev says it has reached an agreement to buy its smaller rival SABMiller, for about $106 billion. If approved by regulators, the deal would bring together Anheuser-Busch InBev's Budweiser and Corona, with SABMiller's Peroni and Grolsch.

The beer giant would sell about one-third of all beers in the world. As part of the deal, SABMiller agreed to sell its share in MillerCoors LLC. That sale is expected to help the larger deal get approved by regulators.

CNN's Maggie Lake discusses the planned beer merger with Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson.
