Should Video Cameras Roll In Federal Courts?

Cameras are almost everywhere these days. But one place they’ve never been allowed is in federal district courtrooms.

Four years ago, some federal courts quietly initiated a pilot program to allow video recording in some cases. Now, a group of federal judges, headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, must decide whether the cameras will continue to roll.
