On June 23, the United Kingdom will hold a referendum on whether to stay in or leave the European Union. Last week, Chris Grayling, Conservative Member of Parliament and leader of the House of Commons told Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson why he thinks the U.K. would be better off voting to leave the U.K. Today, Conservative MP Mark Pritchard explained why he thinks the U.K. should remain in the E.U.

“When it comes down to it, people look at whether the United Kingdom is safer, more secure and more prosperous in the European Union and they will decide yes it is, and therefore the country I think will on balance, vote to remain in albeit an imperfect institution,” Pritchard said.
