Two big music stories in one week demonstrate the changes that are roiling the music industry. After music icon Prince died, sales of his records soared. Prince fought hard while he was alive to retain control of his work.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé dropped her latest album "Lemonade" over the weekend on her husband Jay Z’s streaming service, Tidal, even though much of the album appeared to detail marital strife. Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with Peter Kafka of Re/code.
