It’s the 28th-annual "Shark Week" on the Discovery Channel. That's when the cable outlet focuses all of its programming — sensational or otherwise — on the sea creatures. The network has faced criticism in the past for veering too far away from the truth about sharks, and not focusing enough on conservation efforts.
