India-Pakistan Conflict Spills Into Bollywood

India and Pakistan have gone to war before on the battlefield — but the latest skirmish involves movie screens.

After a recent deadly attack on Indian soldiers, which India blamed on Pakistani militants, there were calls for Pakistanis to be banned from Bollywood films. The controversy is peaking right now because a new film from a popular Indian director, Karan Johar, opens tomorrow.

He's had to apologize for casting a Pakistani star in his film, which he made last year before this controversy surfaced.
