President-elect Trump named his newest appointee Wednesday. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is his pick for ambassador to the United Nations. She's also the first woman named to Trump's team.

The news comes as Trump supporters react to several major policy shifts revealed during Tuesday’s meeting with the New York Times.
