California Jails Could Play Key Role In Trump Immigration Enforcement Surge

President Trump says his administration will deport 2 to 3 million people who are in the U.S. illegally this year alone. In order to do that, the government has to first detain those people.

As Julie Small (@smallradio2) of Here & Now contributor KQED reports, the government could quickly open tens of thousands of detention beds, many of them in California.
