Former FBI Director James Comey expressed a range of views about the media in his testimony Thursday. At times he was critical, while at other times he used the media as a tool to apply pressure on the administration.

But NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik (@davidfolkenflik) tells Here & Now's Robin Young that in every case, Comey showed that he was one of Washington's most deft handlers of the media.
