President Trump signed an executive order Thursday that will allow people to band together to join cheaper, less regulated health insurance plans across state lines. Health care analysts say the move will gut the Affordable Care Act insurance markets for people who buy individual insurance plans.

NPR's Domenico Montanaro (@DomenicoNPR) joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss the implications for consumers.

This segment aired on October 12, 2017.
