It's Giving Tuesday, a kickoff to the charitable giving season — and a good day to pay tribute to noted philanthropist Joan Kroc.

Author Lisa Napoli (@lisanapoli) told Kroc's story in "Ray & Joan: The Man Who Made the McDonald's Fortune and the Woman Who Gave it All Away," and talked with Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson about the book last year.

This segment aired on November 28, 2017.
