The Pros And Cons Of A Weakening U.S. Dollar

The value of the U.S. dollar against global currencies has fallen about 11 percent in the last year. The U.S. has an official policy of keeping the dollar strong, but Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said recently that a weaker dollar is good for trade.
