In hour one of Here & Now's Feb. 26, 2018 full broadcast, we get the latest from Washington as lawmakers return amid pressure to pass gun legislation following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Also, John LaDue never carried out a plan to attack his high school in Minnesota in 2014, because a neighbor tipped off police. But LaDue says he could have been stopped sooner if he had someone to talk to about his thoughts of committing violence. And in Berkeley, California, there are a lot of places — from yoga classes to city council — that are "fragrance-free." So it's a little ironic that Berkeley is also home to the only museum in the United States dedicated entirely to smells.
