In hour two of Here & Now's March 6, 2018 full broadcast, West Virginia's governor has announced a deal to get the state's striking teachers back to work. The teachers will get a 5 percent raise, which they had asked for. We speak with a teacher in Bradshaw, West Virginia. Also we look at the book behind the new Disney film "A Wrinkle in Time," Madeleine L'Engle's much-loved 1962 novel, with librarian and culture writer Margaret H. Willison. And, a charity named in honor of Philando Castile says it has paid off the school lunch debt for hundreds of kids in Minnesota. Castile was killed by a police officer during a traffic stop in 2016. We meet Pam Fergus, who started the charity. You can read and hear more at hereandnow.org, follow us on Twitter and join the conversation on Facebook and Tumblr.
