Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, if confirmed, should recuse himself from cases involving investigations of President Trump, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) says, because of Kavanaugh's past rulings on the reach of executive power.

Blumenthal (@SenBlumenthal) joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss why he's a "no" vote on Kavanaugh's nomination, and why he hopes any confirmation votes take place after November's midterm elections.

This segment aired on July 10, 2018.
