Major League Baseball's brightest stars will descend on Nationals Park in Wasghington, D.C. on Tuesday night for the annual All-Star Game. The last time the city hosted the matchup was nearly half a century ago, back when RFK Stadium was home to the Washington Senators, and it's the fifth time that the District is hosting the game -- even though the city went more than three decades without a Major League team.

Mikaela Lefrak (@mikafrak) from WAMU has this look at the city and the game's shared history.

This segment aired on July 17, 2018.
