The EPA is moving to weaken regulations on radiation exposure and mercury emissions, which come from coal-burning power plants. Restrictions on methane emissions from oil and gas drilling were rolled back last month as well. Also, multimillion-dollar advertising campaigns are being launched amid the embattled nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
