California Firefighters Head To Australia; Layoffs At Pier 1 Imports

A group of 20 seasoned California firefighters, many of who battled the Saddleridge Fire in Southern California, left on Monday night to help fight the fires in Australia. Fire Chief Robert Garcia discusses this global firefighting effort. Also, Pier 1 Imports announced it's closing about 450 stores and laying off about 40% of its headquarters staff.
