The 2020 U.S. census officially starts Tuesday in the remote villages of Alaska. NPR's census reporter, Hansi Lo Wang, is there and speaks with Robin Young about the day's events. Also, the recent smoking ban at all Veteran Administration medical facilities has been lauded for creating a healthier environment for veterans and federal employees.
